With participation by the world’s leading surfers, MEO Pro Portugal – a competition included within the WSL – World Surf League Tour – will be held in Peniche at Praia de Supertubos – famous for its large, tubular-shaped waves.
The fishing town of Peniche and Rip Curl Pro Portugal puts the world’s best men and women to the test at Supertubos. From dusk until dawn the heaving sandbar serves up left and right barrels running at the speed of a freight train, perfectly hollow yet never forgiving.
