Lisbon Fashion Week: ModaLisboa’s 67th Edition
ModaLisboa, Lisbon’s fashion week, returns to the Pátio da Galé from 7 to 11 October 2026 for its 67th edition, presented by OMODA & JAECOO, with four days of runway shows from Portuguese designers in the heart of the city.
About ModaLisboa
Founded in 1991 by Eduarda Abbondanza and Mário Matos Ribeiro, ModaLisboa held its first show on 18 April 1991 at the Teatro Municipal de São Luís, making it one of the earliest fashion weeks to follow the established calendars of Paris, Milan, New York and London. Co-organised with Lisbon City Council since its founding, the event has been staged over the decades in a striking range of venues across the city, including the Museu de Marinha, the Gare Marítima de Alcântara, the Museu da Eletricidade and the Centro Cultural de Belém, before settling into its current home at the Pátio da Galé. ModaLisboa runs twice a year, in spring and autumn, each edition introducing a new generation of Portuguese designers alongside established names, and drawing tens of thousands of visitors and hundreds of journalists from Portugal and abroad.
Practical Information
The 67th edition runs from 7 to 11 October 2026 at the Pátio da Galé, in Lisbon’s riverside Baixa district, with runway shows, exhibitions and public events open to ticket holders and, for some sessions, to the general public.
