Óbidos is a charming and picturesque medieval village on the west coast of Portugal. With white houses careful decorated and full of flowers. Óbidos has many medieval monuments and also beautiful panoramic views from its walls. While in Óbidos you can also enjoy the famous local liqueur known as Ginjinha.
Nazaré is a traditional fishing village, now also defined by the huge waves that attract surfers from all over the world. The lovely cove is protected by high cliffs, which from above offers an incredible view.
While in Alcobaça you’ll find an imponent Monastery and its magnificent gothic style. Here are two historic tombs of the two lovers, King Pedro and Ines de Castro. Alcobaça is also known for its traditional convent sweets. Another Portuguese delight.
Finally, in Batalha visit the especially relevant Batalha’s Monastery. One of Europe’s greatest Gothic masterpieces, therefore, protected as a UNESCO World Heritage monument.
