Amiroad undertakes to protect all personal data shared.
Amiroad Luxury Transports, headquartered at Rua Professor Abel Salazar lote 7, São João da Talha (hereinafter referred to as “Amiroad”) collects from its customers personal data related to them, through its website, ensuring that its treatment is in accordance with the privacy protection rules emerging from Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and other applicable national legislation.
The data collected corresponds to data that is provided by the customers themselves by completing forms, such as a request for contact, quotation or reservation of services.
In addition, by accessing the website www.amiroad.pt, your IP is registered, determining only your location, device or duration of your session. No personal data is collected through your IP.
B. RESPONSIBLE FOR TREATMENT
The entity responsible for processing is Amiroad insofar as it is responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing the personal data of its customers/users.
C. TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED BY AMIROAD
Personal data collected on request corresponds to identification data, such as name, email, telephone contact. This collection is done by completing forms for a request for contact, quotation or reservation of services.
The customer will always be informed of the need to access such data for the use of the features in question, and the client/user may not consent.
D. TREATMENT PURPOSES
The personal data collected by Amiroad are exclusively processed for the following purposes:
(a) The establishment of commercial relations between customers, namely quotation or acquisition of services.
(b) As regards the data collected on the website, as a result of their use, they are also intended to improve navigation on these channels and to adapt them to the device that is used (computer or mobile equipment) by using cookies that, in any case, may be disabled by the user.
As already mentioned, Amiroad collects and processes data necessary for the availability and operation of its website, while ensuring adequate levels of security and protection of the personal data of its customers/users.
To this end, a number of physical, logical, technical and organizational security measures have been adopted in order to protect personal data against unauthorized disclosure, loss, misuse, alteration, processing or access, as well as against any other form of illicit treatment.
Notwithstanding the security measures adopted by Amiroad the client/user must follow some recommended security practices, namely the installation and update of antivirus on their devices.
Cookies are small text files with relevant information that the access device (computer, mobile phone/smartphone or tablet) carries through the browser when a site is visited by the user.
What are Cookies?
The cookies that Amiroad uses allow to improve the performance and browsing experience of its customers, increasing, on the one hand, the speed and efficiency of response and, on the other hand, eliminating the need to repeatedly enter the same information. (iii) Analytic Cookies – These cookies are used to analyze how users use the website, allowing you to highlight articles or services that may be of interest to users, and monitor site performance, knowing which pages are most popular, which the method of linking between pages that is most effective, or to determine why some pages are receiving error messages. These cookies are used only for the purpose of statistical creation and analysis, without ever collecting personal information.
(i) Permanent cookies – cookies that are stored on the access devices (computer, mobile phone, smartphone or tablet) at the browser level, and are used whenever the customer visits the website again. In general, they are used to direct navigation according to the interests of the user, allowing Amiroad to provide a more personalized service;
(ii) Session cookies – these are temporary cookies, which are generated and available until the session ends. The next time the client accesses your browser, cookies will no longer be stored. The information obtained allows you to manage sessions, identify problems and provide a better browsing experience. The client may disable some or all of the cookies at any time.
Cookies allow you to collect information about previous visits, to the site www.amiroad.pt, and, based on this information, to present on relevant third-party websites relevant announcements and customer interest. Customers and other visitors to the Amiroad site may at any time elect to exclude the use of Google cookies through Google Ads Settings.
F. DATA PRESERVATION PERIOD
The processing of the data by Amiroad will remain as long as it is necessary for the established business relationship with its clients. Once the commercial relationship has been terminated, the personal data of its clients will be kept for the obligatory legal deadlines or until they prescribe, according to the law. In any case, once the relationship with customers is over, the data will no longer be processed for commercial purposes.
G. RIGHTS OF PERSONAL DATA HOLDERS
Under the applicable law, customers, owners of personal data, have the following rights:
(a) Right to Information, which consists of the right of customers to be informed by Amiroad, inter alia, of the purpose of the processing of the data, to whom it may be communicated, what rights are attached to them and under what conditions can exercise, as well as which data they must provide;
(b) Right of Access, consisting of the right of customers to access their personal data that they have provided without restriction, without undue delay or excessive costs, and to know any available information on the origin of such data;
(c) Right of Rectification, which consists of the right of customers to require that their data be accurate and current, and may request rectification from Amiroad;
(d) Elimination Right, which is the right of customers to require the removal of their personal data from Amiroad’s records when they cease to be used for the purpose for which they were collected, without prejudice, however, to the retention periods by law they impose themselves;
(e) Right of Opposition, which consists of the right of customers to oppose, at their request and free of charge, the processing of their personal data for direct marketing purposes;
(f) Right to Portability, which consists of the right of customers to receive the personal data they have provided in a structured format, in current use and automatic reading, and transmit that data to another controller.
(g) Right to Limitation of Treatment, which consists in the right of customers to request, in certain circumstances, limitation of the processing of their data, namely:
(i) when they contest the accuracy of their personal data, during a period that allows to verify its accuracy;
(ii) if the processing is unlawful and the customer opposes the deletion of the data, requesting, however, the limitation of its use;
(iii) where Amiroad no longer requires customer’s personal data for processing purposes, but such data is required by the customer for the purposes of declaration, exercise or defense of a right in a legal proceeding;
(h) Right to a Complaint with the CNPD, which consists of the right to submit, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, a complaint to a supervisory authority, especially in the Member State of habitual residence, of its place or where the infringement was allegedly committed, if the data subject considers that the processing of the personal data concerning him is in breach of the General Data Protection Law (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and other relevant national legislation . In Portugal, the control authority is the National Data Protection Commission.
